Nourishing ingredients such as honey, powdered milk, lemon juice, passion fruit juice, olive oil, coconut oil, banana and yoghurt can be added in whisked egg to prepare egg masks.
Preparation of nourishing egg mask- Whisk an egg using a fork until froth forms. Add any ingredient of your preference and according to the texture of your skin. Egg is a natural hair conditioner that keeps the hair healthy and gives luster. The nutrients present in egg such as vitamins including biotin, fatty acids and sulfur promotes hair growth. The egg protein also helps repair damaged hair and make the hair stronger. Applying egg mask on hair is a proven way to add shine to hair and to make hair manageable. Egg mask increases the volume of hair while moisturizing the hair to get rid of dryness.
If your hair is damaged after straightening, perming or colouring, egg mask can be a deep conditioning to repair the damaged hair. Deep conditioning hair mask can be used once in a fortnight to minimize the damage caused by chemicals as well as to nourish the damaged hair.
Preparation of nourishing and damage repair hair mask- Whisk egg in a bowl. Add 1 tea spoon of thick coconut cream(extracted without adding water), 1 tea spoon of olive oil, 1 teaspoon finely pureed banana and 1 teaspoon of unsweetened yoghurt. Blend the ingredients well and apply on hair. Massage the head for about five minutes so that the ingredients may well be absorbed. Wash with a mild shampoo (juiced passion fruit or lemon can be added in shampoo to remove of the unpleasant odor of egg in hair) and pat the hair dry with a soft towel.
EGG WHITE PEEL OFF MASK
Egg white peel off mask removes dirt, impurities black and white heads on face effectively and instantly brightens the skin.
Preparation of egg white peel off mask- Break an egg into a bowl. Using an empty plastic bottle suck the egg yolk into the bottle by squeezing it. Whisk the egg. Apply on face and peel off dried mask after 25 minutes.
You can also use paper towels for the peel off mask. Apply egg white on face using a brush with fine bristles. Tear off a paper towel into small pieces and paste on the face to cover the entire area. Coat another layer of egg white on the paper towels. Let the mask dry for 20 minutes and peel off the mask.
Although egg provides high nutrition for hair and skin, the unpleasant odor prevents many from experiencing the exceptional benefits of egg.
